Praising the prince of pork Stevens is certainly bone-headed even before criminal charges were reported, but should it be any less troubling than cutting a commercial in which a governor, who personally made government work for Tina Conner, says that you would make government work for the people?
I would never claim Lunsford ran a good campaign. It has been pretty pathetic, and that has nothing to do with Patton being in a commercial. I’m still waiting for the commercial linking McConnell and Stevens.

Now Sir Keeling, you have subscribed to the same malarky that some are accusing your man Obama of, guilt by association. They serve together in the the U.S Senate, this was before the conviction. Don’t you think it would have been fair to tell when this video was made? C’mon Keeling, as much as I try to admire you this is a little outlandish, and I don’t even like McConnell.
If you watched the video, you would have heard McConnell say that he and his wife Elaine Chao had been the guests of Stevens in Alaska during six of the prior seven July recesses. I think that goes beyond “They serve together in the U.S. Senate.”
